Folklore Prints

I love old stories of nature from a time when we were more in tune with our surroundings and the weather. These larger illustrative prints were inspired by many quirky old sayings, some included as text in the print, others detailed in information cards on the back of the print.  The designs are filled with pattern and colour with an intricate design layout. Many are multiplate prints.

The actual design of these square prints is 45 cm x 45 cm. Printed on Somerset Satin Paper or Nepalese handmade paper.

These original prints have been hand printed by the artist using a press or by hand burnishing.  Prints will be provided unmounted rolled and posted out in a sturdy cardboard tube for you to frame.
