The inspiration behind this original print was the story in Welsh folklore where a woman was changed into a swallow for stealing a ball of white yarn.
Swallows are seen as good luck and bringers of summer.
The design also features old sewing tools and the old saying ‘Swallows fly high, no rain in the sky. Swallows fly low, ‘tis likely to blow.’
Giclée prints are produced with premium pigment inks on a curated selection of Permajet archival fine art papers
Size 300mm x 300mm
